When Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to invade Ukraine as a belated “Christmas present,” Santa knows he has to intervene. Together with the oft-drunk Christmas elf Snoot, they travel to confront the invading Russian forces in Chernobyl, the site of the historic nuclear disaster.

But all is not as it seems. Even the Russian soldiers aren’t sure why they’re there.

The deeper Santa and Snoot dig into the nuclear wasteland, the more holiday horrors they discover—including a pernicious plot by President Putin to right old wrongs dating back to Soviet-era Russia.

Can Santa and Snoot stop the situation from spiraling out of control?

Or will the sins of Soviet Russia resurface and put the whole world at risk?
