I fundamentally believe that kids need to know how much their parents love them. In my case, that\u2019s a lot.<\/p>\n

My name is\u00a0Ben Wolf<\/a>, and I have a son. His name is Liam, and he\u2019s one of my two favorite people in the world. (The other is my daughter Violet.)<\/p>\n

A lot of little boys have daddies who want them to know how loved they are, and that\u2019s the exact message I wanted to convey to my son: daddy loves you no matter what. What little boy doesn\u2019t need to know that? What loving parent, whether they\u2019re around all the time or not, doesn\u2019t want to convey that love?<\/p>\n

Since I love my son so much, I decided to\u00a0use my talents and skills to create something unique and special to remind him of how much I love him, something he can always have with him, even when I can\u2019t be around.<\/p>\n

The Idea<\/h1>\n

The idea to create a children\u2019s book for Liam came to mind one day, and within minutes I had fleshed out the plot for\u00a0I\u2019d Punch a Lion in His Eye for You<\/i>.\u00a0(Side note: my daughter Violet is still little, but I\u2019ve already got a great story in mind to write for her when she\u2019s older.)<\/i><\/p>\n

It took me another 6 months or so, but I managed to wrangle enough extra funds from\u00a0my day job as a freelance editor<\/a>\u00a0to hire\u00a0a phenomenal artist<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0a dynamite designer<\/a>\u00a0to help me bring this book to life.<\/p>\n

The Result<\/h1>\n

The results have been nothing short of fantastic.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Message<\/h1>\nI fundamentally believe that kids need to know how much their parents love them. In my case, that's a lot.\n\nMy name is\u00a0Ben Wolf<\/a>, and I have a son. His name is Liam, and he's one of my two favorite people in the world. (The other is my daughter Violet.)\n

Liam and his sister Violet (photobombing)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nA lot of little boys have daddies who want them to know how loved they are, and that's the exact message I wanted to convey to my son: daddy loves you no matter what. What little boy doesn't need to know that? What loving parent, whether they're around all the time or not, doesn't want to convey that love?\n\nSince I love my son so much, I decided to\u00a0use my talents and skills to create something unique and special to remind him of how much I love him, something he can always have with him, even when I can't be around.\n

The Idea<\/h1>\nThe idea to create a children's book for Liam came to mind one day, and within minutes I had fleshed out the plot for\u00a0I'd Punch a Lion in His Eye for You<\/i>.\u00a0(Side note: my daughter Violet is still little, but I've already got a great story in mind to write for her when she's older.)<\/i>\n\nIt took me another 6 months or so, but I managed to wrangle enough extra funds from\u00a0my day job as a freelance editor<\/a>\u00a0to hire\u00a0a phenomenal artist<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0a dynamite designer<\/a>\u00a0to help me bring this book to life.\n
